Jamie Carragher couldn't help but shout after being reminded about his Ballon d'Or standing back in 2005.
The former Liverpool and England defender was handed a top-three vote by one of the panel after playing a huge role in helping the Anfield outfit to incredible Champions League glory against AC Milan in Istanbul.

Thierry Henry then asked: "Zizou (Zinedine Zidane) in 18th and you 20th?" Carragher then pointed down the camera and said: "Put that on socials now. Where am I looking. Get that on socials now."
He added when asked if he already knew: "I knew I was above Ronaldo but was Zidane one above me?"

Carragher even landed a single vote of third place from the panel of sports journalists made up from UEFA countries, for his defensive heroics as Liverpool came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with AC Milan and defeat the Italian giants on penalties.
Carragher was swift to share the clip on X (formerly Twitter) after it was posted by CBS, with their coverage often ending in laughter on the panel.
