Luis Rubiales has been given a three-year ban from football for kissing Jenni Hermoso after the Women's World Cup final.
FIFA reached the verdict following their investigation into the former Spanish FA president, who shockingly planted a kiss on the lips of striker Jenni Hermoso, 33, without her consent after their nation's triumph over England's Lionesses in August.
The 46-year-old denied any wrongdoing but ultimately stepped down from his position of power last month after widespread backlash. World governing body FIFA provisionally banned him for 90 days and have now concluded he breached their disciplinary code.

Their statement read: "The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has banned Luis Rubiales, the former president of the Spanish Football Association (RFEF), from all football-related activities at national and international levels for three years, having found that he acted in breach of article 13 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code.
"This case relates to the events that occurred during the final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup on 20 August 2023, for which Mr Rubiales had been provisionally suspended for an initial period of 90 days.

"Mr Rubiales has been notified of the terms of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee’s decision today. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the FIFA Disciplinary Code, he has 10 days in which to request a motivated decision, which, if requested, would subsequently be published on legal.fifa.com.
"The decision remains subject to a possible appeal before the FIFA Appeal Committee. FIFA reiterates its absolute commitment to respecting and protecting the integrity of all people and ensuring that the basic rules of decent conduct are upheld."
Rubiales, who also sparked fury by grabbing his crotch in the stands, remains under investigation by Spanish prosecutors after Hermoso filed a legal complaint. He denies charges of sexual assault and coercion.
Fittingly, she scored an 89th-minute winner on her first appearance for the national team since the incident last week. Speaking post-match, Hermoso said: “What better joy than to feel good again, to score the winning goal. Now I can only smile."
