Manchester City have been charged for their antics at the end of their 3-3 home draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Premier League holders were furious when Erling Haaland played Jack Grealish through on goal, only for referee Simon Hooper to bring the play back for a foul on the Norwegian, despite initially appearing to give City the advantage. City players crowded around the official, with Haaland being particularly irate with the decision.
However, despite his protestations being so fierce that he became a huge social media meme, the 23-year-old will not face any punishment for his reaction. However, the same cannot be said for the team as a whole.

A statement from the FA said: "Manchester City have been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20.1 after their players surrounded the match official during the Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 3 December 2023.
"It's alleged that, during the 94th minute of the fixture, the club failed to ensure their players do not behave in a way which is improper. Manchester City have until Thursday 7 December 2023 to respond to the charge."

However, Haaland faces no further action despite his angry reaction to the decision. That will be a huge relief to Guardiola's side, as the Norwegian has notched up 14 Premier League goals in 14 games, as well as four assists.
City travel to an Aston Villa side who possess one of the best home records in Europe. A victory for Unai Emery's side would also see them overtake the Citizens and drag them down into fourth position.
Guardiola's side have also drawn their last three matches against Tottenham (3-3), Liverpool (1-1) and Chelsea (4-4). At the end of their draw against Spurs, Guardiola opted to not vent his frustrations at the referee. "Next question. I will not do a Mikel Arteta comment," Guardiola said.
"It is hard when you review the image, the referee decides to blow the whistle after he has already said to play on. After the pass, the whistle, so I do not understand this action. But I would say we did not draw because of that."
