Manchester United have reportedly identified a replacement for Jadon Sancho as the Englishman’s future at the club becomes increasingly uncertain.
Sancho has been exiled from United training in recent weeks after claiming on social media that he had been a ‘scapegoat’ by manager Erik ten Hag earlier this month.
He has been banned from using United’s first-team facilities, and other clubs are closely monitoring his situation.
And Calciomercato claim United are working to replace him in January with Juventus winger Federico Chiesa top of their list of targets.
The 25-year-old, who was a key member of the Italy squad that went all the way at Euro 2020, is valued in the region of £52m by his club.

Juventus and Italy winger Federico Chiesa has emerged as a top target for the Red Devils
Chiesa currently earns £80,000-a-week with a contract that expires in 2025.
The winger was one of the stars of Euro 2020 (which took place in 2021) but a serious ACL injury kept him out of action for most of last year.
The Italian struggled after making a full recovery but is looking like his old self again this season, contributing four goals and an assist in his first six games.
Meetings are reportedly set to take place between Juventus chiefs and Chiesa’s agent Fali Ramadani in the coming weeks.
Sancho, meanwhile, has made just three substitute appearances for United this season, but has not featured in the squad since his social media outburst.

His post criticising Ten Hag came after the Dutchman revealed he had left him out of his matchday squad for the 3-1 defeat against Arsenal on September 3 due to his ‘training performances’.
Sancho kept the post as his pinned tweet for over a week before finally removing it, but has refused to apologise to Ten Hag, resulting in him being kept away from the first-team.
Several team-mates have reportedly urged Sancho to apologise in an attempt to save his Old Trafford career, but he is yet to do so.
The 23-year-old winger deactivated his Instagram account on Tuesday morning amid his ongoing feud with Ten Hag.
