Man Utd ‘open to any offer’ for Jadon Sancho as £73million flop nears exit door

Manchester United are reportedly ready and willing to listen to any offer that comes in for Jadon Sancho after his public spat with Erik ten Hag.

The 23-year-old, who joined the club for an initial £73million from Borussia Dortmund back in 2021, has two years remaining on his contract but no future under the current management after their disagreement over performances in training.

Sancho, who has nine goals and six assists from 58 Premier League appearances, could now leave on a cut-price fee with United looking to make back some of the cash they parted with two years ago.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that United are ready to sanction a loan move with the option of a permanent deal, with a permanent deal from the off unlikely.

He added that United would prefer to land a lump sum in January, but finding a fee even in the region of £50million would not be easy.

On the Debrief podcast, he said: "It looks like it’s 90% over between Jadon Sancho and Man Utd. We keep a 10% because we know that anything can happen in football."

Sancho failed to find his best form on arrival at Old Trafford with the recent falling out turning things sour off the pitch.

Having rejected the chance to stay at Manchester City to go to the Bundesliga in 2017, he starred in Germany with goals and assists.

Sancho managed 50 goals and 64 assists across just 137 senior appearances, winning the DFB Pokal as top scorer with two goals in the final.

However, United later clarified that Ten Hag was talking about Sergio Reguilon with Sancho's path back to the first-team not likely.
