Gary Neville has again lashed out at the Glazer family's ownership of Manchester United as their £8billion takeover demand emerged.
The United icon and Sky Sports pundit hit out at the owners after Erik ten Hag's side slipped to a 3-1 defeat against Arsenal, following news regarding the altered stance on selling the club.
Having called for investment in back in November, Daily Star Sport reported on Sunday that they have zero intention of backing down on their $10billion estimation of the club – and are willing to keep it.
In reaction to the Glazers' new stance on not selling up, Neville said on Sky Sports: "Yeah, they are. It's just a game for them. They play, they think it's a toy.

"They are, of course, they're gonna sell, they're desperate for money. They can't even compete on FFP anymore. Manchester United talking like they're a mid table club when it comes to a transfer market."
He continued: "Manchester United turn over £500 million. I mean, we're talking about one of the highest revenue generating clubs in the world.
“My point is that Chelsea, Arsenal and all these other clubs can sign big players and Manchester United are scrambling around on FFP.

"I know they’ve had issues with losses during Covid and that can be thrown around as an excuse.
“At the end of the day, the game today was a fantastic game of football but it still won’t change the fact that they’ve got owners of one of the biggest clubs in this country and in the world that are messing around with the football club.
"I’m not going to stop talking about it, it’s a massive problem."
