Piers Morgan has offered Jadon Sancho a way out of Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United “nightmare”.
Sancho, 23, was not involved in United’s visit to Arsenal on Sunday, where they suffered a 3-1 defeat thanks to two stoppage time goals from the Gunners. When asked why the £73million winger was left at home for the crucial Premier League fixture, Ten Hag took a swipe at Sancho’s performances in training.
The Red Devils manager said: “Jadon Sancho out? Based on his performance in training we didn't select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. That’s why in this game he wasn't selected."
Sancho has since hit back with his own version of events on social media, telling fans to not believe everything they read, stating he has trained well and even calling himself a “scapegoat”.

Now TV show host Piers Morgan, who happens to be an Arsenal fan, has thrown himself into the middle of the spat by offering Sancho a chance to air his grievances on his show – Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Quote-tweeting Sancho’s statement, Morgan wrote: “Hi Jadon, come on @PiersUncensored and I’ll get you out of this Ten Hag nightmare.”

Morgan was likely referencing his bombshell interview with Cristiano Ronaldo in November 2022 which sent social media into meltdown.
Ronaldo, who had fallen out with Ten Hag and the United hierarchy, criticised both club and manager in a 90 minute tell-all appearance on Morgan's show.
Ronaldo’s comments successfully saw his contract terminated at Old Trafford as he sought a move to Saudi Arabia instead. And now Sancho seemingly has a similar opportunity in his grasp in light of his miserable two-year spell with the club.
His full statement read: "Please don't believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.

"I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair! All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.
"I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!"
