Stewards were left with egg on their faces after a pitch invader stormed onto the field and hugged Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe starred for Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night as they cruised to a 3-0 victory over AC Milan in the Champions League group stages. But before the 24-year-old sensation could score the opener, he was approached by an adoring fan.
Play was momentarily halted in the first-half as an Mbappe fanatic sprinted onto the pitch and headed straight towards the World Cup-winning forward. Stewards could be seen running after the rule-breaker, who was clad in a black bomber jacket and trainers.

And he was quickly sent on his way by Mbappe before the stewards could reach him. The supporter did eventually give himself up to the stewards – though he certainly took the spoils in that particular battle, even celebrating with his arms held aloft.

PSG went on to double their lead after half-time when Randal Kolo Muani slotted in a tap-in. And a positive evening was capped off with Lee Kang-in scoring his first goal for the side with a tidy finish inside the box.
