Jadon Sancho told not to use first team facilities
Sir Jim Ratcliffe will reportedly not stand in the way if Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag decides to offload Jadon Sancho. Sancho hasn’t featured for the Red Devils since August following a public falling out with Ten Hag and has been exiled away from the first team.
Sancho featured in United’s first three Premier League matches of the season as a second half substitute but was then dropped from the matchday squad when the Red Devils travelled to Arsenal at the start of September.
Ten Hag told reporters that Sancho’s exclusion was down to his performances in training, with the player then hitting back at his boss in a social media post. And the winger has reportedly been told he won’t be welcomed back into the squad until he apologises to Ten Hag.
According to 90Min, United are now accepting that Sancho will leave the club in January. There had been rumours that Ratcliffe could have a say on Sancho’s future if he completes a deal to buy a 25 per cent stake of the club for £1.4billion. But Ratcliffe has been a huge fan of Ten Hag since the Dutchman was in charge of Ajax and will allow the manager to make his own decisions about players if he does in fact come on board.

A number of clubs are monitoring Sancho’s situation as they make plans ahead of the January transfer window. But the player’s preferred option at the moment appears to be a move back to Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho bagged 60 goals and 54 assists in 137 appearances for Dortmund after joining the club from Manchester City as a teenager back in 2017. But the German club eventually cashed in on the 23-year-old four years later as the Red Devils handed them £73million in exchange for his services.

One option being considered is an 18-month loan, which would include a clause for both sides to trigger a recall to Old Trafford during each transfer window. But the 13-time Premier League champions would prefer a permanent sale, although they are unlikely to obtain anywhere near the amount of money they paid for him in the first place.
Sancho is contracted to United until 2026 and the club want to get him playing again to restore some of his transfer value. Other clubs in Germany are interested in snapping up the star, while his representatives are also assessing options in Italy and Spain. And the player could even push to stay in the Premier League, with West Ham also currently monitoring his situation.
