The Derby County goalkeeper revealed today that his new wife lost her life following a years-long battle with the disease.
The 27-year-old, who started his career with Arsenal, married Laura at an intimate ceremony at Holmewood Hall in Cambridge on June 1.
Their stunning wedding video captured touching moments from the day, including Laura getting ready and walking up the aisle to Josh as he looks at her lovingly.
Josh said in his touching tribute to his late wife today: ‘We have cried, laughed and danced our way through some tough times.’

Loved ones could hardly hold back the tears as they celebrated the couple’s love, while Josh and Laura could not stop beaming following the ceremony.
Videographer Ryan Moore said: ‘This was an emotional one! Hearing Josh and Laura’s story was amazing, they are perfectly suited for each other!’
The couple tied the knot after Josh proposed to Laura in Canada last year. They moved into their first home together back in 2019.
Vickers documented Laura’s lengthy battle with cancer on Instagram, including numerous rounds of chemotherapy.
Announcing her tragic death, he penned a tribute to his late wife: ‘I have written and unwritten this so many times and still can’t find the right words to say and don’t know if I ever will.
