Aston Villa's kit deal with Castore is set to end early due to the 'wet look' home kit that has overshadowed their start to the season.
Villa players are unhappy with the club's 'wet look' shirts – and they have claimed they weigh them down when playing. Unai Emery is aware of the issue, and Villa are now looking for a way out of their deal.
According to The Telegraph, Villa have already started talks to find an 'amicable way' out of their 'multi-year' deal. However, the report adds the talks are 'not necessarily' a direct result of this seasons kit.

Castore broke their silence on the kit, which cling onto perspiration creating the wet, promising to “address this issue as quickly as possible to meet the standards we expect”.
In the long term, Castore are looking to remedy the shirts for the remainder of the campaign. While they are also looking for a quick fix for the upcoming weekend.

Aston Villa's women's side kick of their WSL campaign over the weekend, and they are 'dreading' playing live on TV due to the kits.
Commentator Jacqui Oatley tweeted: "They've got four TV games coming up. Normally they'd absolutely relish those games and look forward to them. But they're actually dreading it because they're really conscious about how they're going to look in this wet, clingy kit – for obvious reasons."
Newcastle United have already invoked an exit clause in their deal with Castore – and from next season the club will have their kits made by Adidas.
