Carl Froch admits he took wife to strip club on first date after Googling her

Carl Froch spoiled a blind date by looking up his future wife on Google – then took her to a strip club.

The former super-middleweight world champion and Brit boxing icon married stunning model Rachael Cordingley back in 2019, five years after he proposed following a whirlwind romance.

Now 46, he has discussed how they were set-up on a blind date but he was too impatience to wait and see what she looked like in person – before an evening that they will never forget.

On his YouTube channel, Froch on Fighting, he said: "I had Googled her, had a look, and thought she looked alright. I'll have a little date with her."

Having doubled booked with a potential sponsor, Rachael came along to the meal at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant before they continued their night together.

She added: "Do you remember the end of it? We ended up going to a strip club. It was Spearmint Rhino I think, whatever it was.

"I'll tell you what, it was super fun. I was dancing on the table and all the women came over and they were on the table with me."

Froch then joked: "I was thinking 'what's going on? I am World Champion'."

They married in 2019 five years after his proposal and have three children together, despite him going on a self-enforced sex ban before fights.
