Christian Horner has dropped a huge hint he could be bringing Daniel Ricciardo back to Red Bull after Sergio Perez suffered a nightmare at his home race.
Perez crashed out on the first corner at the Mexican GP, while Ricciardo rolled back the years to finish 7th for Red Bull's sister team AlphaTauri. "You couldn't fail to be impressed by Daniel this weekend," Horner told Sky Sports.
"I mean, his qualifying was outstanding yesterday. And he showed his maturity, experience, and pace in the race! I think fighting Mercedes, in an AlphaTauri, for their best result of the year was a great performance!

Perez currently holds a contract with Red Bull until the end of the 2024 season, but his struggles have only worsened in recent months. And Mexico could prove to be the final straw with rumours intensifying Red Bull are looking for a new No.2 driver.
Red Bull have also been linked to the McLaren duo of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. However, Ricciardo's name has been the most common when it comes to rumours – and the Aussie already has experience for Red Bull, driving for them between 2014 and 2018.
