Arsenal 'ready to sell Thomas Partey' to raise funds for three-man January transfer list
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has insisted that he is happy at the Italian club despite previous interest from Premier League teams including Arsenal and Chelsea. Both London sides are reportedly looking to bolster their frontlines in January, but the Serbian forward is unlikely to make the move following long-standing links to England.
Vlahovic was mentioned with a possible move to Arsenal as far back as a year-and-a-half ago, before the Gunners opted to move for Gabriel Jesus instead. There have since been further calls to increase the firepower at the Emirates, prompting links once again to Vlahovic.
If Arsenal did want to reignite their interest in the 23-year-old, they would likely face fierce competition from Chelsea. Mauricio Pochettino’s outfit also are aiming to bring in another striker and have Vlahovic shortlisted, but the Serb has outlined his intentions to remain at Juventus.
“I feel at home at Juventus and I never really thought of leaving,” Vlahovic told Gazzetta dello Sport. “Saudi move? I play for one of the most important teams in the world, I’m proud and for now I see myself here.

“I still have two and a half years left on my contract, we’re in no rush but Giuntoli and my agent are already talking. I’m very happy to be here. I was always sure I wanted to stay. The voices are always there and they are part of the game, if we start listening to everyone we can go crazy. I isolated myself and only thought about the pitch and in the end, I’m very happy to have stayed. It was what I wanted.”
Aside from Arsenal and Chelsea, Vlahovic has also received interest from Saudi Arabia over a big-money move that would see him join the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Karim Benzema in the Middle East. But he clearly seems happy in Turin, in a blow to the transfer plans of several teams.

Both English sides could divert their attention to either Victor Osimhen or Ivan Toney. Napoli have already begun to look at a succession plan for their Nigerian striker, while Toney has spoken openly about potentially leaving Brentford once his suspension for breaching the FA’s betting rules ends in mid-January.
In any case, a deal for Vlahovic looks to be off the table despite Arsenal and Chelsea previously willing to pay upwards of £60m for the man with five goals in seven Serie A starts this season, according to various reports.
Vlahovic bagged his side’s only goal in their recent 1-1 draw with Inter Milan having formed a strong partnership with Federico Chiesa up front, as he looks to continue with the Italian giants as opposed to making a Premier League switch.
