In the build up to both the World Darts Championship and Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday, Sky Sports pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have emerged as darts stars. 

In a comedic skit posted on X, formerly Twitter, Gary ‘The Treble’ Neville and Jamie ‘Istanbullseye’ Carragher take on each other in a darts showdown, just days before Man United’s trip to Anfield on Sunday. 

Sky Sports shared the clip of both pundits making a grand entrance in darts attire, with Neville donning a ‘The Treble’ shirt, and rival Carragher nicknamed ‘Istanbullseye’.

They took on each other in a darts-style competition, with Carragher edging a victory of 267-264 with the last throw.

They took on each other in a darts-style competition, with Carragher edging a victory of 267-264

The pundits were earlier seen poking fun at each other with Carragher in a festive jumper making reference to Man United’s 7-0 defeat at Anfield last season.

Liverpool, riding high at the top of the Premier League, could significantly bolster their title aspirations with a victory at Anfield on Sunday.  

Jurgen Klopp’s side are looking to continue their unbeaten streak in the Premier League, following three wins in their recent matches.

Their rivals, Manchester United, are not enjoying the same success, having been knocked out of the Champions League group stage following a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Erik Ten Hag’s side were also defeated 3-0 by Bournemouth at Old Trafford in their last Premier League match, with the side currently sitting sixth in the table.
