Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana has returned to Manchester United after being forced to withdraw from international duty due to an injury.
Onana, 27, returned to his club after picking up in injury during the World Cup qualifying match against Mauritius.
The keeper was forced off and the national team have since revealed that he will miss their next match against Libya.
Man United will monitor the summer signing ahead of their clash with Everton on Sunday.
The former Inter Milan shot stopper was substituted off late in the Mauritius victory – in which his side had secured a 3-0 win, though tests have shown that he has sustained an injury to one of the bones in his pelvis.

Onana was taken off during Cameroon’s victory against Mauritius due to a muscle problem
Erik ten Hag will be hopeful over the fitness of his No 1 in light of the injury crisis at Old Trafford
Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir could be called up for his debut for the Red Devils if Onana is to remain out, as the No 2 keeper is yet to start for Erik Ten Hag’s side.
Fans were initially concerned about the impact of Onana’s injury on United’s squad as they return from the international break next week, though they have received a timely injury boost as he is expected to be fit to face Everton next weekend, according to a report.
Onana sparked fresh concerns over Erik ten Hag’s lengthy list of absentees after coming off with an adductor muscle problem during Cameroon’s win over Mauritius.
His substitution quickly left supporters fearing the No 1 would be forced to sit out of the trip to Goodison Park, though a promising update has now been provided.
Sources have told The Mirror that Onana’s setback was not serious and that as soon as he felt pain, he was taken off to prevent worsening the issue.
Cameroon return to World Cup qualifying action on Tuesday and it is not yet known if the stopper will be able to return between the sticks for his country.
Onana has made 19 appearances for United this season since joining the club from Inter Milan
