Manchester United fans were sent into a frenzy on Wednesday night after bearing witness to a stunning goal from Rasmus Hojlund during Denmark training.
Hojlund, 20, has enjoyed a bright start to life at Old Trafford since making his £72million move in the summer and recently scored both goals during their 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League.
Red Devils supporters will be hopeful that the Dane can help fire them back up the table as the season progresses, following their sluggish start to the campaign.
And, perhaps, they were offered a glimpse of that after a clip of Hojlund scoring in Denmark training went viral on social media on Wednesday.
In the video, Hojlund can be seen receiving the ball with his back to goal, with Brentford defender Christian Norgaard tightly marking him.

Despite being heavily pressured by the Bees star, Hojlund holds him off with ease before firing off a superb backheel effort into the back of the net.
The Danish national team took to their Instagram page to share the clip and it didn’t take long for jubilant Man United fans to share their take on the matter.
‘We might have a new Van Nistelrooy in our hands reds’, one user boldly claimed.
Another commenter, on X, labelled the former Atalanta forward as an ‘unreal talent’ after watching the training clip.
One fan was quick to bring in Hojlund’s youthful nature, as they said: ‘His confidence to do stuffs like this at his age!’.
‘Forget his finishing, his hold up play is top notch’, another fan noted as they reacted to the video.
Lastly, one user shared an image of Hojlund in United kit before captioning it ‘Our own Star boy’.
In his six Premier League outings, Hojlund is yet to find the back of the net for United however has three goals in two matches in the Champions League.
Prior to his brace against Galatasaray last week, the Dane managed to get on the scoresheet as United fell to a disappointing 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich.
The 20-year-old joined up with Denmark during the international break as his national side prepare for Euro 2024 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and San Marino.
Denmark currently sit second in Group H with 13 points from their six games, with Hojlund having scored six goals in qualifying.

There are hopes that Hojlund will become one of Denmark’s great players later in his career
Recently, Brentford boss Thomas Frank claimed that he hopes Hojlund can follow in the footsteps of Christian Eriksen and the Laudrup brothers in becoming one of football’s great Danes.
‘I know he is not playing for Brentford, but I am Danish and I’m happy to see Danish players coming through and doing well,’ said Frank, whose side faces United today at Old Trafford.
‘I must say he was impressive against Galatasaray, two very good goals, he looks like he is in a very good place and hopefully we can keep him quiet on Saturday.
‘It is a fine balance for me. I want the Danish national team to do well and that is why I am happy Danish players are doing well except when we are playing against them.’
