Stipe Miocic was seen limping as he attended UFC 295 after his fight with Jon Jones was cancelled.
Miocic watched on as Tom Aspinall got the better of Sergei Pavlovich to win the UFC interim heavyweight title.
41-year-old Miocic had been set to take on Jones but the fight was called off after the latter suffered an injury.
Jones suffered the injury in training, with UFC president Dana White saying: ‘Jon Jones was training last night, got injured, he was wrestling and he tore the tendon that connects your pec to to the bone, off the bone. [Out] eight months, going to need surgery. He’s out.’
After the fight between Miocic and Jones was cancelled, the bout between Aspinall and Pavlovich then took centre stage.

Instead, Miocic watched on as Tom Aspinall knocked out Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295
Aspinall became just the third Briton to win a UFC title after he stopped Pavlovich in the first round in New York.
However, there was also some focus on Miocic, who was seen limping heavily as he prepared to watch the fight.
One user on X commented that Miocic was walking ‘like he just had a hip removed’.
Another user added that Miocic was ‘Walking like a 70 year old man.’
In addition, another wrote: ‘Why he walking like he 90’.
Another user wrote that Miocic ‘would have got killed’ if his fight against Jones had gone ahead.
Furthermore, another wrote: ‘Are you sure that Jon Jones pulled out and not him ?!’.
Miocic’s last MMA fight was in 2021 when he lost to Francis Ngannou. He has won 20 fights overall and has suffered four losses.
